pissed
Was going to post this yesterday and somehow forgot...

Part of our three-hour bio lab class was canceled because one of our lab rooms started pouring water from the ceiling. Not trickling, but pouring. This class is in the same building where I do research so a pipe burst next to my research lab on the 6th floor and it was drenching a whole section of the building from the 6th floor down to the first. I couldn't help but laugh, it was too funny seeing the Teacher Assistants running around with beakers and trying to keep the ceiling from falling down. (My poor professor was totally covered in plaster and looking really freaked out.) I felt even worse for the people who actually had legit labs that were flooding. My research professor's husband was on the 1st floor and his office began to flood so he was running around trying to save his computer and all his data.

Also, I got this email from my professor. Sarah Palin thinks that studying fruit flies are useless. WHAT. THE. HELL.

Random, but Seto!muse now has a Atem/Yami, a Mokuba, Pegasus, and Yugi over at [info]rizumikaru_yomi . The first two are the only ones that matter to him so needless to say, he's a happy muse. ^^ (Mokuba's dragging him off to get an ear pierced for his birthday, haha.)

Ugh, god, I have a 30+ page lab report due and despite the fact that I can keep pushing back the due date with vouchers, I can't bring myself to work on any of it. Also, Virology exam on Thursday. His exams take so much out of you. ><;

EDIT: Oh, yes, speaking of fruit flies, my repeat experiment of what I did over the summer failed yet again. I'm getting maybe 17% death rate compared to the 50% we were predicting. I am never doing that experiment again, I currently have hundreds of plates of eggs lined up, all for nothing! ;_; Ah, c'est la vie.

...There are no words to express how f-ing appalled I am. Palin FAILS in science forever.

I know. @_@ There is no level of her failure at this moment. My respect for her dropped from 0 into the negatives.

Whoa, craziness with the pipe bursting. Though I do admit that it would be sort of hilarious to see everyone in a flurry, trying to get everything out.

Holy crap, a 30 page lab report? O_O I don't even have to do it and it makes me want to cry.

*nod* Even funnier when beakers and random scientific equipment get involved and all your professors are standing on chairs trying to keep the tiles on the ceiling from falling down. ^^;

I KNOW. O_O The requirements are 3 pages long, single spaced, and normally when we get even ONE page of requirements I end up with a 12 page lab report. I'm going to die. ;_;

I treat Palin like one of those problems that might go away if you ignore it for long enough. ...It isn't working. -SOB-

Guh, I never got into rping YGO, seeing as I didn't get too far into the fandom. Seeing as I'm conveniently picking it up again, I might look into it after I finally... finish rewatching it. Why is it so long.

Also- AGH LAB REPORTS. Bane of my existence.

I mocked her stupidity for a while until I realized that it was getting PERSONAL since she insulted my own line of work. :( Fruit flies are helping us save cancer, biatch!!! *flails*

Anyhoo, yesh. XD;; YGO is awfully fun to role-play, I haven't done it in years until last week, actually. The characterizations are pretty distinct and they're all pretty funny anyhow, so it's never boring.

YES, I KNOW. OMG. D:

I mock her still and always will (WHEN PUTIN'S UGLY HEAD--), but now and then she just terrifies me. ;;

Their personalities are all so distinct and their interactions are hilarious, I can see how it's a whole lot of fun. I need to watch this faster.

WHY ARE THEY SO TEDIOUS ;;

Haha, if it makes you feel better, I never watched beyond Battle City. The cast of characters changes dramatically after that anyways so I just stuck with the ol' gang of Yugi-tache, Yami, Bakura, Malik and Marik, Kaiba, Mokuba, etc. (And Pegasus, can't forget that man. =_=;;)

Because everyone else in the world isn't a scientist and the scientists that do read your lab reports want to pick it apart until it dies, so therefore you have to cover all your bases and it SUCKS. ;_;

I actually finished the whole thing, but I honestly can't... remember any of it. I look at GX and it gives me the shudders though, gah. (Pegasus' Jap!Voice scars children.)

EVERYONE SHOULD ELARN HOW TO READ LAB REPORTS

ugh. i knew she wasn't going to be very well-versed in science (to put it mildly and politely), but... damn. well, if i hadn't known who i was going to vote for already, this would have been the last nail in the gop coffin for me. :P

and it sucks that your experiment failed again. :/ does the failure tell you anything valuable, though?
